9th-12th High School Biology / Chemistry Teacher
Compensation : Pays up to $50 per hour
Qualifications / Requirements
- PA Valid Teaching Certificate in Content / Grade area
- Demonstrates a vested interest in the success, future and vision of the school
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Pedagogical skills in literacy and numeracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Teachers are expected to achieve this through - Daily
- Monitor and hold students accountable regarding classroom deadlines , expectations and goals / norms of the classroom
- Provide rigorous and challenging activities and lessons for the students’ benefit and are able to differentiate instruction to support struggling learners while challenging quicker learners.
- Post and review daily learning objectives and agenda with the students in relation to curricula objectives
- Conduct a warm-up (Do Now) and closing activity each class period
- Return any sort of parental or student communication within 48 hours
- Assign homework and outside learning activities as needed to reinforce the instruction and / or prepare students for future learning.
