The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative / operational / customer support assignments.
Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative 2 Community Resource Specialist works within the Maximize Your Benefits department to assist members by connecting them with a variety of financial assistance resources to help overcome cost barriers to affording their medication.
The CRS associates will take inbound calls and make outbound calls to Humana members to work with them on exploring possible cost savings in the form of grants from national or local foundations, various manufacturer assistance programs and other government sponsored support such as Low Income Subsidy (LIS) and the Medicare Savings Program (MSP) for medication assistance.
Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization / timing, and works under minimal direction.
Follows standard policies / practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation / deviation and / or independent discretion.
