We are a multi entity automotive dealership located in the Central Valley. Our Accounting Department has tenured staff who are extremely busy and looking for an extra pair of hands to assist with accounting processes.

The Accounting Clerk will work in the business offices located in Fresno, CA.

This is a full-time opportunity working Monday through Friday.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Sales industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with exceptional accounting skills to contribute to a fast-paced, growing organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

This role requires a high level of integrity, accuracy, and dedication.

Responsibilities :

1. Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to : Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, and Data Entry.

2. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.

3. Prepare and submit weekly / monthly reports, assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly / yearly closings.

4. Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.

5. Participate in preparation for the annual audit.

6. Develop and maintain financial analysis and reporting activities for management purposes.

7. Support the Sales team by providing timely and accurate financial information.

8. Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system.

9. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

1. Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

2. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or a similar role in the Sales industry.

3. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable / receivable principles.

4. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

5. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software.

7. Excellent data entry skills.

8. Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

12. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
