SUMMARY :
The ERP Support & Training Specialist is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and maintain the organization's operational systems and financial applications and creating technical documentation, workflows, and training materials for end users.
RESPONSIBILITIES : System Testing :
System Testing :
- Creating, updating, and documenting testing results of operational and financial software systems
- Creating system flow charts, processes, and technical documentation for testing and debugging systems and applications.
- Performing A / B and UAT testing of existing and new software applications.
Training & Documentation :
- Develop instructional materials (paper documents) for new implemented software.
- Develop instructional guided learning content for training & presenting to end users.
- Present and make recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instruction delivery options.
- Comparison Documenting current system & process to replacement.
System / Application Training :
- Perform routine training sessions (in-person and virtual) to educate staff members on existing and newly implemented systems and applications.
- Facilitate and conduct meetings for rolling out any new modifications to existing software.
System / Application Support :
- Act as an escalation point for supporting users and the IT Department related to complex technical issues of the business existing business systems and after "go live" of newly implemented operation software and financial applications.
- Document, track, and managed reported technical issues and pending resolutions. Related to the business' systems and applications.
Administrative Duties :
- Keeping system folders & sub folders current and organized
- Keeping departmental documents current
- Assisting manager in preparation of meeting or training sessions, including materials and power point presentation.
- Assisting in editing existing Excel & word documents.
- Assisting in creating new Excel & word documents.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business Administration (preferred)
- Two years minimum of recent experience troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining ERP systems and financial applications, including supporting operational and financial software applications that support order management, dispatching, routing, and invoicing.
- Two years professional expeirnece evaluating, documenting, and training end users on new software applications.
- Two years of expeirnece performing A / B and UAT testing on EPR systems, financial applications, and operational software.
- Excellent, written, and verbal communication.
- Excellent to Proficient level of experience & knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Power point.
DESIRED QUALIFATIONS :
- Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains or Oracle ERP systems
- Familiarity with operational software such as inventory management, warehouse management, and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of relational databases (i.e., SQL Server), SQL scripting, SQL Server Management Studio, and SSRS / SQL Report Writer
