We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of HR and People Operations to join our executive leadership team at Serviam Care Network, also known as "One Serviam.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources across multiple service line companies under the One Serviam umbrella.
Each service line has its own purpose, stakeholders, and team members spread across the country, all supported through a shared services approach to people operations.
As the Head of HR and People Operations, you will manage the People and Culture function, including recruitment, training, wage and benefit administration, compliance, and team relations activities, while upholding One Serviam’s culture and values.
This role is crucial in shaping our company culture, supporting growth, and ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop world-class talent.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership :
- Lead and manage HR functions, including talent acquisition, retention, onboarding, training, and development.
- Partner with the executive leadership team to align HR strategies with the company’s goals and mission.
- Develop and implement HR policies and programs that support the company’s growth, culture, and performance objectives.
- Prepare documents, work effectively under time constraints, and meet deadlines.
- Develop and nurture relationships with Serviam Network Members and stakeholders.
Talent Acquisition & Retention :
- Drive an effective recruitment process to attract and hire top talent, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and objectives.
- Implement strategies for compensation, talent retention, employee engagement, and career development.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless integration of new employees into the company.
Culture & Diversity :
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging across the organization to ensure a welcoming environment for all team members.
- Implement leadership skills to motivate and develop the team to ensure goal achievement.
- Promote and support initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and culture, including open communication, a positive workplace, and professional development opportunities.
Operations Management :
- Oversee all One Serviam team learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with all HR legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Manage HR-related budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Implement and maintain HR systems and processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Administer wages and benefits to ensure accuracy and equity.
Performance Management :
- Develop and oversee performance management systems to align employees with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee performance, productivity, and satisfaction.
- Oversee continuing education processes to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain high ethical standards and make fair, unbiased decisions.
- Implement new procedures and communicate changes effectively.
- Lead team members with tact and diplomacy, promoting conflict resolution.
- Provide counseling and guidance to address individual and team challenges.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in HR, with 5 years in second-level management (managing people managers).
- Experience in leadership studies, diversity and inclusion, and healthcare, with a preference for senior living experience.
- Proven track record of success in HR leadership, including talent acquisition, retention, onboarding, training, and HR legislation.
- Experience working with multiple teams across various service lines is preferred.
