Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech II in Maplewood with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will be doing product development testing of tapes and liquid structural adhesives.
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Tech II you will do :
- Tape testing : including peel, shear, tensile, rheology, liner release, etc. Sample preparation : substrate cleaning, die cutting, lamination, (training on relevant test methods and use of instrumentation).
- Adhesive testing : including dynamic shear, impact, viscosity, modulus, etc. Sample preparation (training on relevant test methods and use of instrumentation).
- Reporting of data accurately with desired details (no data analysis required)
Estimated Duration 24 + months.
The ideal candidate will have :
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or other related STEM field
- Minitab, JMP or other data entry software
- Experience in a laboratory or analytical lab setting
Pay Rate : $24.42 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
