Job description
Mike Miller Auto Park-KIA, a locally owned and operated dealership for more than 26 years is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team.
Responsibilities - Service Technician :
- Communicate with our clients and / or service advisors for description of vehicle problems, discuss work to be performed and any anticipated future repairs.
- Repair / service all vehicle systems such as brakes, A / C, tires, suspension, transmission, engine repair, electrical onboard computer system, oil changes, fluid flushes, warranty work and recalls.
- Perform thorough multi point inspections and repair quotes to include labor times and parts
- Test and adjust required systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
- Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems, using the latest diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Verify ALL completed repairs making certain the concern has been remedied.
- Complete Manufacturer required training, and keep training up to date.
- Review vehicle repair history to promote to additional sales as needed on each vehicle
Qualifications / Requirements - Service Technician :
- Honesty and Integrity
- 2 years as an Automotive Service Technician is preferred but not required
- EV Experience is a Plus
- ASE Certification is a Plus
- Continuous Manufacturer Training
- Maintain Essential Tools
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Mechanical and Troubleshooting Skills and Ability to Operate Electronic Diagnostic Equipment
- Team Oriented, Flexible and Focused on Maintaining the High Level of Customer Service.
- Enjoy Working in a Fast Paced,Team-Oriented and Customer Focused Repair Facility

Schedule :
- Day shift 8 : am-5 : pm
- Rotating Saturday, When Scheduled 8 : am - 12 : pm
