It IS NOT and Cyber Engineer or Cyber Manager. It is a Cyber Security Portfolio Program Manager that has worked with NIST and worked in a PMO before.

Requirements :

Minimum of 4 years as Enterprise (large scale) Program Manager experience in a PMO

Minimum Program size 4 project managers

Customer facing project experience- web based projects

Experience working with and delivering to executive leadership (weekly basis)

Bachelors degree

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead our technology projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT programs, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of technology trends.

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities :

Program Planning and Strategy : Develop and implement IT program strategies aligned with organizational goals. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Create comprehensive project plans and schedules.

Project Management : Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, allocate resources, and establish project timelines.

Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise.

Team Leadership : Build and lead cross-functional teams, including IT developers, engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Resource Management : Manage IT program budgets, resources, and expenses. Ensure efficient utilization of resources and optimize project costs.

Track and report on project financials.

Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.

Implement best practices to ensure project quality and compliance.

Stakeholder Communication : Communicate project updates, status reports, and key milestones to stakeholders, executives, and project sponsors.

Manage expectations and ensure alignment between IT initiatives and business objectives.

Vendor Management : Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor performance.

Ensure vendor deliverables meet project requirements.

Quality Assurance : Implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.

Conduct regular reviews and assessments to measure project performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Program Manager or similar role in managing complex IT projects and programs.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software (ADO, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project)

Experience in risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Certification in Agile or Project Management a plus
