Description
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Sr. LVN is responsible for coordinating patient flow, assist the lead LVN to adjust medical assistant / LVN staffing and performing associated nursing services.
This includes checking in rooming patients, interviewing patients, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, completing intake questionnaire with patients or family members, recording services in patient charts, uploading scans.
Interact with ALS clinic and Neurology clinic staff, patients, faculty, Therapists and residents to maximize patient care, patient satisfaction, and physician satisfaction.
Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinate and monitor LVN / medical assistant staff, adjust staffing on daily basis to maintain efficient operations, ensure that Joint Commission standards are maintained at all times, monitor the medical staff and ensure maintenance and upkeep of the facility, maintaining stock of clinical supplies, distributing mail and stocking exam rooms.
The Sr. LVN is responsible for participating in the Quality Assurance process and maintaining professional standards. The Sr.
LVN will also translate Spanish / English for providers as needed.
This is a part-time limited position that may convert to career.
Salary Range : $34.61 - $45.66 Hourly
