Job Title : Senior Property Manager.

Location : Provo, Utah.

Job Type : Full Time, 40 hours per week, Exempt.

Shift and Schedule : Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts.

Pay Range : Between $62,000 to $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Property Manager who demonstrates exceptional leadership and has a proven track record of overseeing property operations and managing budgets.

Job Description : Under the direction of the Executive Director, plan, implement, monitor, and supervise portfolio / site-based staff.

Provide housing and manage assigned housing resources in accordance with funding, city, county, state, and federal regulatory agreements.

Oversee and enforce all operations according to approved policies and regulations. Plan and supervise daily maintenance and property management services provided by site-based staff and contractors.

Provide leadership in operations, including care and upkeep of structures, lease enforcement, marketing, rent collection, and resident relations.

Supervise hiring and evaluate performance of personnel. Develop and administer operational plans and site-based budgets.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop strong connections with residents, providing high-quality customer service and housing options that promote integration and connection to the surrounding neighborhood.
  • Participate in the development of strong portfolio / site-specific partnerships with management and service providers.
  • Assist in developing and administering operational plans and budgets. Monitor expenditures and analyze operations to implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Assist maintenance in the overall upkeep of the properties and communicate building issues effectively.
  • Administer PCHA policies and Fair Housing laws. Implement leasing strategies that maximize occupancy.
  • Ensure units are prepared for NSPIRE inspections and address deficiencies prior to inspection.
  • Oversee program staff; train, supervise, and evaluate performance. Maintain time and performance records for assigned staff.
  • Work closely with the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Department to ensure timely leasing.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and records related to assigned activities.
  • Manage, monitor, and enforce the Safety and Health Program for assigned area.
  • Facilitate staff participation to improve service delivery and attain agency goals.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Property Management, Social Services, or related fields; or substitute additional four years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience : 5 years’ experience in residential property management.
  • Licenses : Valid Utah Driver’s license with insurable driving record. Must possess a Public Housing Manager certification within one year of employment.

Competencies, Knowledge and Abilities :

  • Knowledge of public housing policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to housing management.
  • Ability to coordinate day-to-day operations for low-and-moderate-income families.
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
