Apogee is seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to support the Secretary of the Air Force, International Agreements division (SAF / IA).
As the Financial Operations Specialist you will provide critical support to the Program Element Monitors by assisting in financial, budget, and spending plan activities affecting International Armaments Cooperation programs.
This is a full-time position located at the Pentagon, VA. The position will allow for a hybrid work schedule with periodic travel to the Pentagon.

What you'll be doing :
- Support Department of the Air Force Program Element Monitors (PEMs) utilizing resources such as :
- Automated Budget Interactive Data Environment System (ABIDES) / Program and Budget Enterprise Service (PBES)
- Resource Allocation Programming Information Decision System (RAPIDS)
- Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Assist in the preparation of presentations to PEM panels, Financial Review Groups, and Financial Working Groups
- Provide monthly financial status reports for all International Armaments Cooperation (IAC) programs; ensure programming documents are prepared for the Government Resource Manager
- Assist in developing budget execution and end-of-year Spend Plan for all IAC programs.
Minimum Experience :
Citizenship : Must be a US citizen
Clearance : Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
Education : High School Diploma
Years of Experience : 10 years experience in DoD financial execution including :
- Thorough understanding of the DAF budgeting process.
- Working knowledge of IAC programs, including International Cooperative Research and Development (ICR&D), Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT), and the Coalition Warfare Program (CWP)
- Working knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidance required to develop, coordinate, and implement International Agreements, including :
DoDI 5530.03, International Agreements
- DoD7000.14-R, Financial Management Regulation
- AFI 51-701, Negotiating, Concluding, Reporting, and Maintaining International Agreements
- AFI 16-110, DAF Participation in IAC Programs
- AFMAN 16-114, Procedures for DAF Participation in International Armaments Cooperation (IAC) Programs
- AFI 16-201, DAF Foreign Disclosure and Technology Transfer Program
Preferred Experience :
Preferred Education and Experience : Associate degree in Finance with 7 years of relevant DoD experience.

Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.
The base pay for this position ranges from $95,000 to $110,448.00 . A different range applies to specific work locations.
Base pay is based on several factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
