Were seeking a Service Club Manager to join our Operations team at our 75 Rockefeller Plaza location. The Club Manager will report directly to the General Manager.

What Youll Do :

The Club Manager is responsible for assuring the success of all programs, while maintaining a profitable operation & high-quality products & service levels.

He / she is expected to share ideas to promote business; reduce employee turnover; maintain revenue & payroll budgets; & meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high.

• Supervise & set up the service of culinary in a quick & efficient manner to participants & ensure that it follows The Program Execution Order
• Supervise the service team & support staff including setup, utilities, maintenance, & security
• Coordinate culinary service between the culinary team & service team
• Keep culinary informed of accurate counts
• Review menu / service with production & culinary teams
• Enforce all rules & regulations & ability to carry out all safety & emergency programs
• Monitor all beverage consumption
• Follow all health & safety regulations & ensure sanitation & cleanliness of service areas
• Manage vendor communication
• Update POS systems

What We Look For :

• Minimum of 2 or more years of progressive experience in a conference center or a related field
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
• Strong knowledge of service standards, & different service types
• Knowledge of food & beverage preparation techniques, health department rules & regulations, liquor laws & regulations
• Be involved in and / or conduct ongoing training of service specialist to maintain standards of service
• Manage opening and / or closing inspection duties
• Maintain service cleanliness in front & back of the site
• Ensure positive overall client satisfaction
• Ability to interact with guests and / or associates in a courteous, empathetic & discreet manner
• Adhere to basic hygiene procedures & grooming standards
• Flexible & long hours sometimes required
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, & place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
• Reach overhead & below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, & stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time

Base Salary :

Salary Range : $65,000 - $70,000

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.

Individual pay is based on skills, experience & other relevant factors.
