Job Description :

Parsons is looking for a sharp Mission Development / Integration Manager to join our growing Space Systems Development and Integration Team!

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to do what you love in the Space Systems engineering world.
  • Assess system architecture and current hardware limitations and deliver solutions architecting for integrated space and ground systems.
  • Participate in gathering business and product functional and performance requirements.
  • Define and design system specifications, input / output processes, and working parameters for hardware / software compatibility.
  • Lead team of mission integrators / systems engineers executing contract obligations and build capabilities for future programs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

  • US Citizenship with the willingness and ability to obtain / maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or other STEM degree, with demonstrated experience in this mission domain.
  • 8+ years of systems engineering experience in the defense industry (Master's degree can be replaced with required experience).
  • Strong communications skills and capacity to engage with current and potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% possible.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have :

  • Active DoD Security clearance.
  • Experience with one or more engineering design and analysis tools such as MATLAB, System Toolkit, Solidworks, digital engineering, or similar solution tools.
  • 10+ years’ experience in government or industry supporting space, aerospace, or related defense programs.
  • Familiar with space systems integration analysis and requirements verification processes and are willing to engage in program and technical discussions to determine compatible solutions.
  • Experience with effective organizational skills and pursue / deliver solutions including space system, ground, and launch integration packages.

Salary Range : $117,000.00 - $210,600.00
