Director - Cancer Center - Livingston, NJ

Job Overview :

Qualifications : Required :

Required :

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of five years of clinical, and 3-5 years of progressive healthcare management experience required

Preferred :

Master’s degree preferred

Essential Functions :

• The Cancer Center Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Cancer Center.
• This will be accomplished by working collaboratively with the Vice President of Oncology Services and the Medical Director of the Cancer Center to design and implement clinical and administrative processes that support the overall operations of the Cancer Center.
• Responsible for ensuring that all services offered in the Cancer Center are based on the most current best practices by monitoring the field of Oncology.
• In addition to other direct reports, the Director will supervise the Clinical Nursing Director and Assistant Director of Administrative Services and ensure their performance supports the operation of the Cancer Center.
