As the Web Applications Developer, you will be a strategic resource for developing software infrastructure systems utilized in Secure Warehouse and Logistics Operations under the direction of the director of software services.

Our software development team's objective is to create user-inspired, innovative applications that exceed client expectations by partnering with all stakeholders to ensure the success of each project.

• Ensure web applications adhere to design, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Have the ability to identify and address issues impacting project completion.
• Possess the ability to maintain web applications using standard APIs and conduct unit and benchmark testing.
• Be able to create comprehensive technical documentation.
• Possess experience in cross-browser / platform compatibility testing and web accessibility best practices.
• Have familiarity with integrating UI design for handheld mobile devices and 3rd party applications using Rest API.
• Be knowledgeable about web services and advantageous experience in warehouse logistics applications software.

As an ideal candidate, you should have one or more of the following certifications :

• Database Design / DDF (Data Definition File) development and relational design
• SQL Backend Database Integration and Development
• Cold Fusion Software Development
• Java Script Development
• CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) Development
• HTML Code Development
• jQuery UI (User-Interface) Design and Development

Bradford Airport Logistics prefers you also have :

• Demonstrable experience with software version control practices
• Demonstrable knowledge of framework methodology
• Demonstrable practice of code commenting for reusability and reference tags
• Familiarization with Cold Fusion Components and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)

Your responsibilities as the Web Applications Developer will include :

• Design, Develop, Test, and Deploy Web Applications for assigned Modules / Projects
• Project Oversight for Task Management, Timeline, and Budget
• Development of Code Specifications for Modules / Projects
• Technical Design Documentation for Modules / Projects
• Support the Development of Database Architecture Design for Module / Projects
• Support the Prototype Development for Module / Projects
• Software Development Update Summary to User Community
• Interaction with Quality Assurance for Design Review / Approval, Contract Compliance, User Acceptance / Certification, and Defect Management
