Enter Gift of a Day events into the Crossroads Hospice database to ensure media coverage. Recruit volunteers to participate in the planning and execution of Gift of a Day events.
Compile and manage a resource file with service providers and volunteers. Attempt to obtain donated goods and services for Gift of a Day.
Volunteer Assistant Education & Experience Requirements : Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school degree required. Direct experience in event planning, volunteer management, and recruitment required.
Must be flexible and able to work some evenings and weekends. A minimum of 2 years of work experience with volunteer programs highly desirable.
