- As an Officer, you’ll spend your shift securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment;
inspecting buildings, and access points; permitting entry. This position prevents losses by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedure and enforcement of park policies and procedures.
You’ll protect our guests, team members, and property, all while gaining valuable law experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Secure gates
- Check, log, and clear authorized personnel and vehicles presenting proper ID or passes entering the park
- Operate various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information disclosed during the course of duties performed
- Respond to security-related incidents occurring on park property
- Write clear and concise incident and other reports
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws occurring on the property to include the Code of Conduct and Company policies and procedures to all guests and employees.
- Safeguard company assets, property, equipment, and facilities against illegal and destructive acts.
- Conduct field interviews to gather facts of an incident
- Respond to any emergency situation in the area and maintain control until an area supervisor arrives.
- Ability to provide fair situational judgment based on company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that image, cleanliness, and courtesy standard requirements are met by Guests and Team Members.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS OF A SUCCESSFUL SECURITY OFFICER :
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Successfully complete Background Pre-Screen interview with Loss Prevention & Pre-Employment Drug Test
Being able to stand for long periods of time 8+ hours
Ability to wear 10 pounds of equipment including body armor
Ability to work in all-weather elements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and dependable

- Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to obtain a Cobb County Alcohol Permit (cost covered by Company)
