Inventory Control Specialist

Paradigm is currently in searchof an Inventory Control Specialist to work for our client in theaudiovisual industry in Tigard.

This onsite role would providematerial support in a Lean Manufacturing environment by monitoringthe accuracy of inventory uring daily resolution of errorsidentified by cycle counts and uring timely and accurate completingof counting journals.

Must be able to work a 6 : 00 am2 : 30 pmtraining shift then 1 : 30 pm10 pm PST regular shift thereafter.

Asan Inventory Control Specialist youwill :

Maintain the daily cycle count program requiring inventory countaccuracy and timeliness.

Administer transaction corrections inventory adjustments andnegative balance adjustments.

Liaise with the Manufacturing department to trouble and rectifyproblems arising from inventory transactionerrors.

Perform cycle counts asneeded to resolve discrepancies.

Update cycle count reports anddoentation.

Train employees oncycle counts.

Participate inannual inventory audits.

Supportcontinuous improvement.

Other duties as ignedbySupervisor.

Requirements

Ourexperience ss and wishlist include :

1 3 years related experience in material handling cycle counting orinventory control preferred.

Ability to understand partnumbering.

Training in andexperience with Lean manufacturing principles ispreferred.

Proficient inMicrosoft Office applications (Outlook Word Excel andSharePoint).

Forklift certifiedor ability to obtain certification within 3 months fromhire.

Must be available to workovertime and weekends whenneeded.

Possesses excellentverbal and written ss in English.

Able to multitask and be flexible in a dynamic work environmentwhile maintaining strong attention todetail.

Ability to workindependently and in a teamenvironment.

May be required toalternate schedules to meet productiongoals.

Attendance is a criticalfunction of thisposition.
