Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

CTBK utilizes the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to operate the Firm and this position would sit on the Leadership Team in charge of day-to-day operations, goal setting and implementing initiatives generated by the Team.

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at CTBK you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of the organization.

Reporting directly to the Integrator (Managing Partner), you will be a key member of the leadership team, contributing to high-level decision-making and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Financial Strategy and Planning :
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Evaluate and drive financial planning initiatives to support long-term growth and sustainability.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis :
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly and annual financial statements of CTBK and four of its related entities, including weekly scorecard (flash) reporting.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and innovative opportunities, and present findings to the Leadership Team and Partnership Group.
  • Monitor key financial metrics on leadership scorecard and performance indicators to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Assist with annual tax provision calculation to provide tax partner liaisons with projected taxable income based on budget, forecast and actual.
  • Risk Management and Compliance :
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors (401k plan), ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage the Company's insurance and risk management related to our malpractice and general business policies.
  • Team Leadership and Development :
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated finance team of seven professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team, driving individual and collective success.
  • Strategic Partnerships :
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the leadership team to align financial objectives with overall business strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and strategic partners, to support business growth and expansion initiatives.
  • Manage banking relationships, credit facilities and oversee treasury function (managing cash flow and working capital) for the Firm.
  • Sit on Inorganic Growth Team to help with potential M&A targets.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within the professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with the ability to apply strategic thinking to financial decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities, with a focus on developing talent and driving high-performance results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
