The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products and materials.

This role ensures that warehouse processes are running smoothly and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Preferred with basic HVAC experience or desire to get in this line of work.

Job Duties :

• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Document and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and maintain quality standards.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
• Replenish stock as necessary.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately .
• Comply with company policies and legal regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Participate in training and development programs as required .
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required .
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) or willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs ).
• Good communication and teamwork skills .
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Comfortable with ladders and heights
• The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. On occasion, lift and / or move more than 75 pounds with assistance .
