OPERATIONS MANANGER (Power Industry)
Immediate need for a talented Ops Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant. Person will be expected to lead a team of direct and indirect reports and have 10+ years of hands-on experience in a power plant or heavy industrial environment.
NEEDED!
- BS Engineering (equivalent experience will be considered)
- Proved leadership / supervisory experience
- Ability to manage outages
- Highly knowledgeable about rotating & electrical generating equipment (HP steam boilers, turbines, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills, strong background in operations, well versed in EHS
- Solid understanding of fuel combustion / material handling practices / electrical control systems
- ASME certification holder or ability to obtain it within 6 months from date of hire.
- Must be able to work a rotating 12 hour shifts schedule
