Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Civil Construction Foreman to oversee and manage on-site operations for our civil construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid background in civil construction, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors on-site.
- Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Maintain close working relationships with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of the project.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
- Plan and organize work activities, ensuring efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
- Resolve on-site issues and conflicts, providing effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any incidents or delays.
- Ensure that all resources including safety equipment, tools, materials, equipment and layout information are on the project and in site when needed and that it is being used correctly.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
Requirements :
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Construction Foreman in civil construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
