Soliant Health is seeking a Special Education Teacher who is interested in working in a school setting in the Jackson, TN area.
In this role, the SPED will be providing services for school age students ranging from grades PreK-12. Please see job details below.
- 2024-25 School Year
- Full Time, Monday-Friday
Assigned to elementary campuses as needed
Caseload / Classroom assigned based on teaching clearances
An active Tennessee Special Education Teaching license is required
Knowledge, skills and abilities we are looking for :
- K-6 teaching experience and TN sped licensure.
- Ability to build relationships with students, staff and parents.
- Ability to attend ARDs as needed and as assigned.
- IEP development experience including : Knowledge of Present Levels of Academic Performance and Functional performance (PLAAFs) writing goals and objectives
Duties do not include direct support to students.
