As the Senior Director of Human Resources, you will be a strategic partner in shaping the organizational culture and managing a broad spectrum of HR functions.
Your role will encompass employee relations, hiring, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), people operations, benefits administration, and staff training.
Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a supportive and productive work environment that aligns with Collective Measures’ values.

This role is crucial to the success of our employee owners and reports directly to the Co-President, Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities :
- People Leadership :
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment through effective communication and support.
- Appropriately and effectively keep senior leaders informed.
- Employee Relations :
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with sensitivity and impartiality.
- Implement and uphold policies and practices that promote fairness and respect across the organization.
- Stay current on state specific employment issues for our remote staff.
- Hiring and Recruitment :
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection, and onboarding.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract top talent and ensure a diverse candidate pool.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) :
- Drive DE&I initiatives to create an inclusive and equitable workplace.
- Develop and implement programs that promote inclusion and belonging within the agency.
- People Operations :
- Streamline and optimize HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with employment related statutes and regulations in all locations where employees reside.
- Oversee administration of HR tools, including BambooHR and vendor sponsored employee platforms.
- Oversee office operations and manage associated staff to ensure a productive and efficient workplace.
- Benefits Administration :
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Oversee plan design, vendor selection, and oversee open enrollment.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefits offerings to meet employee needs and organizational goals.
- Staff Training and Development :
- Design and implement training programs that support employee growth and development.
- Identify skills gaps and provide solutions to enhance workforce capabilities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; OR experience commensurate in those areas of study
- Marketing agency and / or professional service company experience preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, recruitment, DE&I, and benefits management or commensurate professional training
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
This is a hybrid role located in Minneapolis, MN. Full time remote candidates will not be considered.
