Our challenge :
We are looking for an experienced ETL SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using Informatica to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into our SQL Server databases.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $110-$120k / year & benefits (see below).
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica to facilitate data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into SQL Server databases.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the data solutions meet the business needs.
- Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
- Write complex SQL queries to analyze data and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Monitor ETL jobs and resolve any issues or failures in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to ETL processes, data mappings, and data flow diagrams.
- Implement best practices for data integration, data quality, and performance tuning.
- Participate in data modeling and database design activities to support new projects and enhancements.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to ETL and data management.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in SQL Server development and ETL processes, specifically with Informatica.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data validation and cleansing.
- Knowledge of financial services or investment banking data and processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
It would be great if you also had :
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with additional ETL tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations in the financial industry.
