We are in search of an Accounting Manager / Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in CINCINNATI, Ohio. In this role, you'll be tasked with an array of responsibilities ranging from overseeing accounting operations to implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, and cash applications
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and account reconciliations
- Supervise and provide mentorship to a team of accounting professionals
- Drive the implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Lead capital expenditure management and provide support in expense report processing
- Deliver insightful variance analysis and financial insights to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate internal and external audits
- Support monthly and year-end close processes
- Participate in and contribute to special projects and initiatives.

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Familiarity with BlackLine and Concur software
- Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
- Understanding and experience with all Accounting Functions
- Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in Auditing
- Proficiency in Billing Functions
- Ability to handle Month-end Journal Entries
- Must have a strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
