HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR - PUBLIC SPACES

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Public Spaces Supervisor to join our housekeeping team at Suncadia. The Public Spaces Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas within the resort, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and recreational areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Salary : $20.00 / hour - $22.00 / hour

Responsibilities :

• Supervise , clean and coordinate the work of public spaces cleaning staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Inspect public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards and take corrective action as necessary.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all public areas.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints regarding cleanliness and maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management .

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
