About the Role
In this customer-oriented sales position, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships in the industrial manufacturing sector.
You will pay attention to customer needs, recommend the best possible solutions from our comprehensive product catalog, and deliver old-school service to customers.
This is a remote / field-based position in the Greater Orlando area. Travel throughout the territory and visits to the warehouse in Apopka.
Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with customers, earning their trust and repeat business.
- Communicate clearly and succinctly.
- Manage inventory directly for current customers.
- Develop and execute your own territory tactics.
- Maintain accurate sales records using Pipedrive CRM.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities. (Fastenal, Kimball etc.)
Qualifications
- Proven success in a sales within industrial or mechanical sectors.
- Existing book of business with industrial hardware sector highly preferred.
- Broad understanding of industrial products and their applications in maintenance and repair settings (preferably some wrench-turning experience).
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- A valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.
