Job Description :
The Accountant assists in tracking and evaluating financial activities of the Accounting Department by implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
The Accountant will execute accounting office procedures as outlined by the Accounting Manager, consistent with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) specific to nonprofit accounting.
Additionally, the Accountant will support the activities of a mix of volunteer and paid fellow employees in accomplishing the Accounting Department's roles and mission, in alignment with the values and philosophies of the Foundation as stated in the Foundation by-laws.
This position is hourly and may require duties to be performed outside normal work hours.
