PAY : Up to $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
HOURS : Monday-Friday; 7 : 30AM-4 : 00PM / Part-time may be considered
LOCATION : 13930 Missouri Bottom Rd. Bridgeton, Missouri 63044
TITLE : Accounting Clerk
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate data entry into QuickBooks and eventually SAP
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Handle payment processing, including checks and ACH in a timely manner
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records, ensuring up-to-date information is recorded in the system
- Communicate with vendors to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and authorization of expenditures
- Assist with procurement responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable
- Filing and answering phones in the absence of the lobby receptionist
- Download reports using multiple systems
- Provide support to accounting group
- Help with special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions
- Ability to understand and interpret billing paperwork
- Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and changing culture
- Ability to understand and adhere to all laws pertaining to accounting
- Ability to gather business requirements and outline business needs
- Ability to handle high level of confidentiality regarding service information
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Regular and reliable attendance

Education and Experience :
- Some Accounting related courses preferred
- 2-5 years experience in an accounting role preferred
- SAP experience is required (Davidson is migrating from QuickBooks to SAP)
- Experience collecting data from multiple sources to create reports
- Strong skills with MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly
This position reports to the Accounting Managers and CFO of the company
