Crafton Hills College accepts applications for part-time, hourly adjunct positions on a continuous basis. However, this does not imply the department is actively recruiting for this position.

This is a part-time non-instructional position at the STEM Center. This position provides academic support to students, develops directed learning activities (DLAs) for their respective discipline, and facilitates DLA workshops and / or trainings.
This position may require collaboration with other faculty and / or tutors to complete the responsibilities listed above.
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
This is a non-instructional faculty position and is under the general direction of an assigned administrator. The non-instructional faculty member is responsible for ensuring the quality, responsiveness, and currency of the instructional support provided at Crafton Hills College to help students succeed.
The individual helps develop instructional support programs including (but not limited to) tutoring, supplemental instruction, directed learning activities (DLAs), and general support in the STEM Center, which includes helping students who use the center and its programs (MESA, Honors, etc.).
Qualifications
Education / Training
Required Education and Experience :
Any master's degree in one (1) of the STEM majors available for degree completion and / or transfer at Crafton Hills College, including but not limited to : Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Geology, Physics, and Mathematics;

Experience :
Experience that indicates a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with physical and learning disabilities.
