Quick Service Cook

Are you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a cook at our busy quick service restaurant.

We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high-volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed.

Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn.

We need a team player who is ready to work alongside other crew members, and has excellent time-management skills. If this describes you, apply today! Compensation :

$10 - $15 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Wash, cut, dice, chop, and slice food items to stock prep stations
• Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
• Finish each shift by sweeping the floor, mopping, cleaning countertops, and wiping down any other surfaces that were used
• Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructions
• Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it

Qualifications :

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Previous experience working in fast food or quick service restaurant is preferred
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers

About Company

In 2016, Paul and Lucrecia Davis, residents of Pearland, Texas, noticed an unmet need in their community. They were parents to young children who craved a safe, fun, and engaging play area a place where kids could let their imaginations run wild, and parents could relax knowing their children were in a secure environment.

Seeing the gap, they decided to fill it themselves, and thus, KNP Social was born.

KNP Social quickly became a hit among families in the Pearland area. Parents loved the thoughtfully designed play spaces that encouraged creativity and active play, while the kids loved the sheer fun of it all.

It was a win-win, and the Davises reveled in the joy they were bringing to their community.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, KNP Social, like businesses worldwide, was impacted and forced to shut down.
