JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Penn State Dickinson Law's Office of Admissions & Financial Aid plans to hire 2 to 3 members of the Dickinson Law Class of 202 3 to work as Dickinson Law Admissions Representatives from August to mid-November ( exact start / end dates and length of service are negotiable ).

Job Duties

• Admissions Representatives are responsible for representing Dickinson Law at a variety of recruiting events both virtually and in person including LSAC Forums, law and graduate school fairs, and private presentations for pre-law groups.
• In addition, Admissions Representatives are expected to communicate with prospective candidates as requested via email / phone and complete various administrative tasks related to recruitment such as comparing travel costs, booking travel / preparing travel itineraries, and tracking travel expenses for reimbursement and reconciliation.
• Admissions Representatives are paid an hourly rate plus all travel and meal per diem expenses in accordance with Penn State policy.

Requirements and Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, the candidate will need to follow University Travel Guidelines. Please familiarize yourself with Penn State's Employee Domestic Travel Guidelines.
• Employment with the University for this job will require the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties.

A valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

• You do not need to maintain a residence in Carlisle during this time.
• Former Law Lion Ambassadors and admissions office employees are strongly encouraged to apply, but we welcome applications from all recent graduates.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
