Project Manager w/ Cyber Security
A financial services firm is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Jersey City, NJ.
Pay : $- / hr
Responsibilities :
- Lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of cybersecurity projects within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, infrastructure, software development, data technology and external vendors, to ensure project success.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, making appropriate modifications to meet evolving needs and requirements.
- Manage project scopes, and schedules, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, and within scope.
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Stay informed with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, incorporating best practices into project planning and execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's degree in information technology or Cybersecurity field.
- 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with at least 2 years in a project management capacity.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong critical thinking, deductive reasoning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Project management relevant certification preferred.
