A company is looking for a Utilization Review Clinician - ABA to perform reviews of member care and health status related to Applied Behavioral Analysis services.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate member care and health status to ensure medical appropriateness of ABA servicesPerform prior authorization reviews to determine medical necessity in accordance with ABA guidelinesProvide education to members and families regarding ABA and behavioral health utilization processesRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationGraduate of an accredited nursing school or Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related experienceMaster's degree for behavioral health clinicians is requiredLicensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or equivalent is requiredBehavioral health clinical knowledge and ability to assess ABA Treatment Plans preferredExperience working with providers and healthcare teams regarding ABA services preferred
