Position Overview :

As the Warehouse Operations Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.

You will lead a team of warehouse staff, ensure adherence to safety standards, and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with both internal staff and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you must have forklift certification and be able to assist with warehouse tasks as needed. This role is ideal for a seasoned warehouse leader with strong organizational skills and a passion for optimizing processes.

The Ideal Candidate :

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, bilingual leader with a proven track record in warehouse management. You should be skilled in logistics, inventory control, and staff supervision, with a focus on creating a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

You will also have experience with process improvements and be comfortable working flexible hours, including early morning shifts when needed.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Leadership & Management :

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that aligns with company policies and promotes safety and teamwork.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations across all shifts.

2. Warehouse Operations :

• Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Manage inventory control processes, including regular cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve operational efficiency.

3. Safety & Compliance :

• Enforce safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to reinforce best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

4. Process Improvement :

• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Utilize warehouse management systems and other technology to streamline operations.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.

5. Communication :

• Communicate effectively with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve any operational issues.
• Bilingual communication (English and Spanish) with staff, vendors, and stakeholders as necessary.

6. Forklift Operation :

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently as needed to assist with warehouse operations.
• Ensure all forklift operations comply with safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Forklift certification and proven experience operating a forklift.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning shifts when required.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods of time.
