JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to oversee and lead the North America Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team supporting all commercial finance activities.
This role will develop insightful analytics to support growth and operational goals, own the commercial budgeting process, assist with developing and providing monthly reporting and partner with the North America commercial teams to drive profitable growth and strategic initiatives.
This position will also lead and develop direct report(s), providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
YOU ARE
An Experienced Finance Leader . You will support the development of financial forecasts, sales and margin budgets, and long-term financial plans, while conducting detailed financial analysis to guide decision-making and strategic initiatives.
You will also monitor financial and departmental performance, review budget variances, and provide recommendations to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the Finance Management team to deliver in-depth analysis that supports business objectives.
A Collaborative Business Partner . You will gain a deep understanding of key business drivers and KPIs, collaborating with cross-functional and commercial teams to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions and profitable growth.
You will also support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis, helping to optimize business performance.
A Passion for Continuous Improvement . You will support the development of PowerBI reporting while identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes, controls, and systems.
You will drive continuous improvement in FP&A by implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
Your efforts will contribute to more efficient and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Focused on Team and Individual Development . You will lead and mentor financial professionals, offering guidance and support for their professional growth.
You will also ensure effective task delegation and thorough review of work completed by the Commercial FP&A team to maintain high standards of performance.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in financial management or a related field, with a proven track record of managing financial operations and teams.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, PowerBI, Excel, and financial reporting software (Planful). Experience with ERP systems (Eclipse) is beneficial.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing financial staff.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and relationships in a global organization.
- Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly.
- Consistently meets deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
