SUMMARY : The Executive Director : PACE PROGRAM is directly responsible for the development, implementation, and operation of the PACE PROGRAM.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's level degree in health administration, business administration, social services, nursing, or a related field.
- Additional certifications relevant to healthcare management, preferably for an at-risk population and in a capitated setting, are highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in programs serving the elderly.
- Valid Driver's License.
EXPERIENCE :
- Experience-based knowledge acquired through 2 to 5 years of work in the PACE Program.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, especially those related to PACE and similar elder care programs.
- Proven experience in program development, strategic planning, budgetary oversight, organizational development, resource development, and public relations.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Position requires moderate visual concentration for reviewing and editing print materials and computer work.
Minimal lifting, bending, and twisting required with lifting not exceeding 20 pounds. While in patient care areas, there is a risk of exposure to infectious diseases requiring standard safety precautions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : This position works Monday through Friday with a general office schedule of 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
working additional day or evening hours as required to meet the diversity of events offered in the community served, including nights and weekends.
This position requires visiting community referral sources utilizing a personal vehicle. Moderate weekly travel is required within counties served and may exceed 200 miles per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
ASSESSMENT :
- Oversees the operational, financial, and administrative functions of the PACE PROGRAM and overlapping Hospice Savannah operational responsibilities.
- Develop and implement strategies for program growth and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence in patient and participant care and employee performance.
- Responsible for overall program quality and effectiveness, including identifying the need for services and innovative ways to provide care, improving efficiency and effectiveness, and responding to participant and community needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including medical providers, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
COMPLIANCE :
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
planning, assigning, and directing work; completing evaluations timely, rewarding, and disciplining employees as well as contracted employees.
- Complete all HSI educational requirements.
- Performs all other duties deemed necessary by leadership and other duties as assigned by the CEO / President.
- Participates in required staff meetings and inter-agency planning activities.
