Job Duties and Responsibilities

Staff DevOps Release Manager sought by DISH Wireless, LLC in Littleton, Colorado.

Build next-generation, automated, cloud-native platforms and solutions by working closely with cross-functional teams following classical agile methodologies.

Own the scheduling, planning, and control of the software’s development and delivery process on multiple concurrent projects and releases.

Define and implement Everything as Code. Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.

Expand automated testing to generate data and improve understanding of the platform and solutions. Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.

Job requirements :

Requires or foreign 3- or 4-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field plus 5 years of experience as an Analyst, Sr.

Associate-Project or closely related role, deploying solutions on a cloud platform (including AWS, Google, Cloud, Azure, OCI).

Also requires 5 years of experience using / with the following (which may have been gained concurrently) :

  • Application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system.
  • Agile development, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Automated testing of applications, CI / CD workflows, TDD / BDD.
  • Containerization and virtualization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, which may include a drug test.

Rate of pay : $150,000.00
