BC forward is currently seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst for an opportunity in Redmond, WA

Position Title : Business Intelligence Analyst

Location : Fully Remote

Anticipated Start Date : - ASAP

Job Type : Contract and Remote

Pay Range : $45 / hr. - $50 / hr.

Purpose of the Team : The purpose of this team is focused on onboarding new board stocking location and onboarding new B2B communication.

The purpose of this role is updating manual work and trying to automate and not missing any steps. Delivering REQ's through the FSL through B2B, but still need full capabilities.

Key projects : This role will contribute to fill in gaps for Data Validation and inventory reconciliation. The purpose of this role is updating manual work and trying to automate and not missing any steps.

• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm : The role will consist of :
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Documents business processes and flows as needed.
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Hard Skills Assessments :

• Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled
• Hard Skills Assessment Process : The assessment process will include 2 HSAs per candidate; 30 minutes
• Required Candidate Preparation : Candidates should have resume reviewal and talking through candidate experience prepared prior to the assessment.

Candidate Requirements :

• Years of Experience Required : 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required : Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required, or relevant experience.
• Disqualifiers : N / A, If candidate doesn't have experience with Data Analytics experience
• Best vs. Average : The ideal resume would contain :
• Data Validation and inventory reconciliation
• Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage
• Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
• Ability to solve technical problems / processes and understand complex details
• Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
• A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
• Performance Indicators : Performance will be assessed based on if the candidate can contribute to the team. Being a good partner to the teams that they work with.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience :

1. 5+ Years of experience Data Analysis and Data Analytics and experience

2. Process Documentation experience

3. 3+ Years of Familiarity with Excel and PowerBI

4. Written and Verbal communication skills; High visibility role will require this as a hard skill.
