As a Supplier Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing a category strategy for led categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers / s and the respective internal partners and customers.

You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, planning and driving negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management.

Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building positive relationships with internal partners, handling cost and supply.

Key Responsibilities + Partner with the Engineering team to establish equipment and materials specifications and facilitate executive level reviews with suppliers + Identify potential new suppliers, monitor supply and demand, and implement supplier-related savings levers + Support Micron's supplier qualification process, assess supply chain risk and business continuity assessments and communicate quality requirements and risk profiles for new suppliers + Lead procurement / sourcing strategies for new materials or equipment (creation, partner input, communication, and execution) + Negotiate and communicate total cost of ownership projections and commitments and apply current supplier performance information to secure improvements for future performance + Align with TD procurement partners located at our headquarters and other locations (including Singapore) to develop strategies to successfully set and achieve budgets + Track supplier performance to budget and key investment in technology programs Qualifications + 5 years experience in any of the following : + Supply Chain + Purchasing / Procurement + Engineering Education + Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience + Business + Engineering + Supply Chain + Related field of study As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
