Scentsy is looking for a Senior Manager of Consultant Development & Training to to lead the development of field consultant leaders and assist in the conceptualization and creation of asynchronous training content.

What You'll Do :

  • Partner with business leaders to create and facilitate sales and leadership development programs for a global field salesforce
  • Determine specific learning and development objectives, deliverables, and change initiatives necessary to meet business objectives (performance, engagement, retention)
  • Provide coaching, training, and motivation needed to help Consultants achieve personal and team goals
  • Design and develop learning experiences and materials for live and asynchronous delivery
  • Consult with the training team on the training roadmap and ensure delivery via proper venues and vehicles
  • Research, locate, and work with training resources (including Subject Matter Experts)
  • Leverage existing assets in the development of new live and asynchronous programs and content
  • Stay abreast of social media trends and communications with the field to leverage insight for learning and development needs
  • Revise / iterate existing content based on analytics
  • Create strong relationships of respect and trust with leaders
  • Assess leader needs based on ongoing business insights and analytics and develop learning and development strategies that focus on assessed needs
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and training to leaders
  • Serve as an internal expert on the compensation plan, incentive programs, tools, compliance, and reporting
  • Manage multiple development programs and initiatives
  • Train and mentor internal teams as a program / content lead
  • Lead calls, trainings, and events with field leaders and Consultants
  • Provide training to groups of Consultants
  • Create program content, schedules, outlines, and assignments, including training and development events
  • Assist with field communication plans to increase learning and development participation
  • Actively monitor social media groups to support Consultant / home office interaction
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development offerings based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Support additional training programs
  • Share learning and development plans and programs across geographies, as well as offer support to Country Managers as needed
  • Present at corporate events
  • Conduct train-the-trainer coaching
  • Provide input and report on the state of the field to the Chief Consultant Development Officer, Director of Consultant Development, and Director of Consultant Training.
  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of training experience preferably in the direct selling industry
  • Desire to break development and training molds and try innovative approaches
  • Proven ability to produce learning and development programs on time and on budget and align those programs with a larger strategy
  • Ability to manage individual workload while supporting the work of the team
  • Ability to incorporate sound adult learning principles into curriculum
  • Ability to present and speak effectively in front of large audiences
  • Ability to develop and distribute relevant reports, dashboards, etc.
  • Ability to balance and incorporate the value of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Demonstrated ability to coach leaders to higher performance
  • Working knowledge of rapid e-Learning software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Articulate Storyline, and / or Camtasia
  • Knowledge of Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, Flash, SnagIt, and InDesign, a plus
