Job Overview :
SAIC is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Orange County, CA. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in desktop support within a corporate environment.
The successful candidate will provide support for multiple projects, ensuring the smooth installation, servicing, and upgrading of PC equipment and peripherals.
Due to Federal Regulations C2C candidates will not be considered
Key Responsibilities :
- Installation & Servicing : Install, service, and upgrade PC equipment and peripherals.
- Troubleshooting & Repair : Diagnose and repair software, hardware, and network configuration issues.
- Technical Support : Provide technical and user support for PC components, mainframe networking, and LAN-based systems.
- Customer Service : Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Communication : Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Experience : 1-2 years of experience in desktop support within a corporate environment.
- Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of PC hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving : Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Customer Service : Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Team Player : Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Education :
A relevant technical certification or associate degree is preferred but not required.
