American Metals Supply isn’t just another HVAC distributor—we’re a 100% employee-owned company where every team member plays a vital role in our shared success. We’re currently looking for a Junior Buyer who’s eager to learn and grow in a dynamic purchasing environment.

What You’ll Do :

• Keep inventory levels just right at each branch—never too heavy, never too light
• Monitor demand trends and adjust purchasing to avoid shortages or excess
• Work directly with vendors to get accurate lead times, delivery timelines, and product availability
• Resolve pricing and invoice discrepancies before they become a problem
• Review daily suggested POs and make confident calls
• Identify slow-moving or aged inventory and help keep our shelves agile
• Stay plugged into the industry—attend trainings, trade shows, and vendor events
