Responsibilities :
- Diagnose vehicle issues through analysis, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Conduct routine service inspections, standard maintenance, and repairs on automobiles and light trucks.
- Provide service information and recommendations to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service or repairs.
- Uphold dealership quality standards and safety protocols.
- Assist in maintaining shop appearance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with shop policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED required (bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of dealership or large facility experience.
- ASE certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to follow manufacturer requirements.
- Proficiency in driving both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
