Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
As our Lead Medical Support Specialist, you will oversee the management of an assisted living home. Every day we'll rely on you to work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the accurate and compassionate care is provided.
Thrive in this role, you should have a strong background providing complex medical care and be passionate about helping people experiencing disabilities.
We'll teach you everything else you need to know.
Must has experience supervising others in a dynamic team setting supporting individuals with high medical needs. Must be able to drive agency vehicles.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Health or Social Science, Special Education or other related field preferred.
CNA, CMA, or Nursing training preferred. Emphasis of study in developmental disabilities preferred.
Four years of directly related experience in an environment supporting individuals with higher medical needs required;
one year of which involves supervisory experience required.
