Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care for our children in a nurturing environment.
We have 3 children ages 6, 3, 20 months and a baby girl due end of January. Newborn experience is a must. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, fostering their development, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
This role requires someone who is reliable, engaging, and capable of creating a positive atmosphere for children to thrive.
This is a live in position in Charlottesville, VA 22911

Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Assist with homework and educational activities to support children's learning.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after activities and meals.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, behavior, and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by following health guidelines.
Experience
- Previous experience in nannying, babysitting, or childcare settings is required, at least 3 years. Must have a driver's license, high school diploma or GED, must be able to provide references upon request
- Familiarity with caregiving techniques that promote child development.
- Knowledge of meal preparation suitable for children’s dietary needs.
- Experience working in preschool or daycare environments is a plus.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable.
- A genuine love for children and the ability to educate them through play and structured activities.

Pay : $650.00 - $700.00 per week
