We are looking for passionate Environmental Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team and help build the future of PAR through customer relationship and sales growth opportunities.
Bringing a full-cycle sales mindset to work, the Environmental Sales Engineer will add value to our company by connecting customers to our value proposition and closing deals that drive growth.

Success Criteria
In this role you will lead all proposal and cost development activities by leveraging internal subject matter experts with RFIs, RFQs, and other procurement solicitations to determine the suitability of PAR’s technology solutions.
Your ability to build relationships quickly will be key in as you engage in deeper discussion to assess project requirements, customer needs and how we can tailor our technology solutions effectively.
This role is part of a larger technical team, where you will collaborate and guide engineering experts to turn customer challenges and concepts into solutions.
Our solutions are complex, so you will need to have a keen eye for cost as you oversee costing efforts for proposed solutions to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
Closing the sales requires a sophisticated dance between understanding the customer needs and what it will take for our internal teams to deliver.
Being able lead technical discissions, spearhead the creation of proposals and negotiate terms and conditions is core to this role.
Lastly, as our business grows in volume so too will your strategic responsibility. Your seniority will expand as you forecast and capitalize on opportunities and contribute to creating long term growth strategies including service and aftermarket support, along with contributing to industry white papers and R&D review boards to strengthen our next generation technologies and competencies.
Through events such as industry trade shows and thought leadership forums, you’ll lead customers to our technology as you scale our solutions and bring your career along for the ride.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical field, MBA preferred
- 5-10 years technical experience in Sales, Product Management, Project Management or Engineering in the environmental sector (nuclear research and development labs, nuclear decommissioning sites, nuclear processing facilities)
- Ability to travel 30%+ of the time.
- Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Microsoft Project
- Salesforce
- Strong technical writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
