Sterling Search Partners is helping a River Region client with its search for a BI Specialist. The Business Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that support data analysis and reporting across the organization.
This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their data needs and provide meaningful insights to drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gather and analyze business requirements to develop effective BI solutions.
- Design and create interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by developing and implementing data quality standards.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data extraction and transformation processes.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to maximize the utilization of BI tools.
- Monitor BI performance and troubleshoot any issues related to reporting and data processing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
