Kaleidoscope is a medical billing and credentialing company that serves independent medical groups. We are seeking a medical billing specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate would have experience in the medical billing industry and the ability to communicate effectively within the team and with clients.
Excellent customer service and typing skills are critical for success in this position as well as the ability to multi task.
Job Responsibilities
- New patient demographics
- Insurance entry / review
- Charge entry / review
- Clearinghouse review
- Payment posting / processing
- Aged claim review / follow-up
- Customer service
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years in medical setting (billing preferred, but not required)
- Experience with medical claims
- Experience reading insurance cards
- Experience reading EOB’s
- Knowledge of CPT codes (coding background not necessary)
- eClinicalWorks
- Allscripts / Veradigm
Full time position with benefits.
Hours : 8 : 00-4 : 30 Monday through Thursday and 7 : 30-4 : 00 Friday.
